On Friday, November 15th the Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (ICAAP) hosted our fourth annual Awards Presentation during the Annual Education Conference.

- Mariana Glusman, MD, FAAP for her ongoing leadership and passion for Reach Out and Read Illinois resulting in a significant investment from the state of Illinois in the past few years.
- Julie O’Keefe, MD, FAAP for her ongoing leadership and promotion of community pediatrics including service as CATCH liaison and chair of the Illinois Community Advocacy Network for Kids.
- Eddie Pont, MD, FAAP for his passion and leadership in child advocacy and service as chair of the Committee on Government Affairs.
- We also presented an Outstanding Achievement award to Mike Kreloff for his commitment to ICAAP and leadership in child advocacy.
